March 2021 – At Home Volunteer Time
The daily activities you do with your children are very important! Home learning activities or AT-HOME VOLUNTEER TIME help to connect the skills and development that teachers are working on in the classroom to your home. Reading, Cooking activities, making shopping lists and playing learning games are all activities that count as AT-HOME VOLUNTEER TIME. Remember to use the At-Home Volunteer time sheet to keep track of the time you spend working on new skills and concepts with your child.
Don’t forget to turn in the completed form to your child’s teacher at the end of every month! Simply put the amount of time you spend working with your child in 15 minute increments on the appropriate day. If you need help filling out the form please call your child’s center.
