Volunteer Information

We are dedicated to making sure all young children are given the opportunity to learn as many valuable lessons as possible during the years when it is easiest for them to learn. But none of this would be possible without the help of passionate, caring, dedicated volunteers. Whether you want to help children in the classroom or work behind the scenes, your time truly can make a difference in a child's life, not to mention their families.

You see, children aren't the only people who learn at Head Start. As a parent volunteer or community volunteer you can gain many important life, parenting and employment skills.

Examples of how YOU can help at Head Start

Read or tell a story to a child
Get materials ready to use for a project
      Attend meetings, trainings, etc.
Play a game with a class
          Play a musical instrument
            Give another parent a ride

Save or collect recyclable materials for crafts

Purchase items online through from Little Tikes Giving

              Share a hobby or talent
Contribute ideas and thoughts for the program
                  Brochure distribution
Donate used cell phones and printer cartridges
                      Arrange a bulletin board
Be a member of Policy Council or Board

Repair toys, books or other equipment

                           Laminate and cut classroom projects
